When will you take a stand?

Galatians 5:1-2 We have freedom now, because Christ made us free. So stand strong. Do not change and go back into the slavery of the law. (NCV)

When will you take a stand for your faith in Jesus Christ? What holds us back from proclaiming what we believe and why? What holds us back from professing our belief? We are told “to go unto all the world and proclaim that Jesus Christ is King, Lord of Lords, Messiah, Savior. Mark 16:15 15 And then he told them, "Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone, everywhere. (NLT) What keeps you from doing just that? What are we afraid will happen if others know that we follow Jesus? There is nothing any one can do to us that could hurt more than denying Christ? Are we afraid people will reject us? So, we can be rejected for a multitude of other things, why let that stop us. Are we afraid that others will ridicule us or mock us? Again, so, Jesus was ridiculed as were the disciples, it didn’t hurt them, but made them stronger in Christ. There really is no reason to not take a stand for or against Christ; but the decision must be made one way or the other. There is no standing in the middle. Don’t be lukewarm about your faith. Revelation 3:15-16 I know what you do, that you are not hot or cold. I wish that you were hot or cold! But because you are lukewarm — neither hot, nor cold — I am ready to spit you out of my mouth. (NCV)
