Galations 2:20
I myself no longer live. But Christ lives in me.
A Life in Christ
By Julie K. Shirkey
"I have been crucified with Christ, it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me, and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me. " Galatians 2:20 (NKJV)
Are you crucified by Christ? And do you live, or do you still follow your own agenda? Can others tell you've been saved? Are you different? If not, why not? Do you wonder if heaven is your home? Are you really saved? Does the plight of our country have you worried about the future? Are you concerned about the salvation of others? Do you want to spread God's Word, but are afraid to? Do you wonder about Satan and hell? Are you concerned about the truth? Are you searching but not finding answers to your questions? I don't have all the answers, but there are some very strong points in this book, some of which you may agree with, some you may not, and others you may be searching for. So open your heart and let God's Word touch your soul.

Doors are open doors are closed

John 15:18&19 "If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you. If you were of the world, the wrold would love it's own. Yet because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you. (NKJV)

Do you think the road was easy for Jesus? Do you think that all doors were freely open to Him? Do you think that everyone welcomed HIm with opened arms? They didn't and it will be the same for you. You will not always be welcomed because you are a Christian and you won't always have doors of opportunity readily opened. Revelation 3:8 I know your deeds. See, I have placed before you an open door that no one can shut. I know that you have little strength, yet you have kept my word and have not denied my name.( NIV) That is why we must develop and grow our faith in Jesus. Why? Because He has already been through these very issues we are going through, or will go through. He already knows the scorn and persecution the world can inflict on one who is obedient. People have the misconception that life will be so much easier when you are a Christian, actually it may just get harder. And when it does, we have someone to turn to who has been there before us.
